Best Fruit Juicer



Feel slimmer, healthier and more energized in one week. Don’t believe it can be done? Have a try of this simple smoothie cleanse that incorporates a daily juice into a lean diet of fruit, protein, wholegrains and veggies.

Day One

During the week stick to grilled chicken and fish, plenty of vegetables like broccoli, beans, brown rice, fruit and nuts. Once you’ve got the basic food diet down, it’s time to add smoothies that target weight loss and fat burning.

Give your system a kick start with a juice of ½ peach, ½ fresh mango, ¼ cup of apple, ¼ cup of dandelion greens and ¼ cup of water. Dandelion may sound gross but it stimulates the gall bladder, encouraging the body to break down fat.

Day Two

Continue the detox with a classic green smoothie with 4 kale leaves, 1 apple, 1 banana, 1 tsp ground ginger and ½ cup of water.

Day Three

For a perk-me-up breakfast try a simple smoothie of ½ whole red grapefruit, ½ apple, 1 banana, 1 cup of dandelion greens and ¼ cup of water. Grapefruit contains lycopene – a powerful antioxidant that reduces cholesterol and purifies the liver and kidneys.

Day Four

Now is the time to move away from detox smoothies and in to the world of weight loss smoothies.

Blend ½ cup skimmed milk, ½ cup frozen strawberries, ½ banana, 2 tbps protein powder and 1 tsp of brewer’s yeast. This helps to correct glucose levels in the blood stream, while the protein powder decreases your appetite and helps you feel fuller for longer.

Day Five

Boost your fibre with 1 red grapefruit, 1 kiwifruit, 1 tbsp ground flax-seed  2 bananas, 2 cups baby spinach and ½ cup of water pulsed into a juice.

Day Six

Add some more antioxidants and nutrients with a cherry smoothie that contains high levels of disease fighting beta carotene, vitamin C, potassium, iron, magnesium and folate. Blend 1 cup frozen cherries with ½ cup of orange juice, ½ lemon, ¼ cup of water and a tbsp honey.

Day Seven

It’s the last day, so finish with a bang with a strawberry and orange juice smoothie. If you’re feeling adventurous add protein powder, flax-seed oil and a tablespoon of brewer’s yeast.
